Decent value for a Labrador

I was on the hunt for a Labrador Retriever and found PuppySpot. I kept an eye out for any offers and managed to get a small discount on the puppy travel, which helped. The price felt fair considering the health guarantee and the convenience. He arrived last week, healthy and playful. For a first-time buyer like me, it felt like a worthwhile purchase.

Love my new Maltipoo!

Oh my goodness, I just got my Maltipoo puppy, and I'm so in love! The whole experience was fantastic. They made it so easy to find the perfect little guy. The travel package was great, and he arrived safe and sound. I can't wait for him to meet my friends. I will absolutely be shopping here again when I'm ready for another puppy!

Another happy experience with PuppySpot

This was my third time using PuppySpot, and they're consistently good. I got a French Bulldog this time, and just like my previous Golden Retriever and Cavapoo, the puppy was exactly as described and arrived in excellent health. The vetting of the breeders clearly works because I haven't had any issues. It's why I keep coming back; I trust their process and the quality of the puppies.

Detailed review of my Goldendoodle purchase

I recently acquired a Mini Goldendoodle through PuppySpot, and I wanted to share my detailed experience. The website was easy to navigate, with good filters to find the specific breed and characteristics I was looking for. After selecting my puppy, the ordering process was clear, including adding the puppy starter kit and reviewing the health guarantee details. Communication from their support team was prompt when I had questions about the puppy's travel arrangements – they sent updates via email and text, though the flight details changed once. The puppy arrived via their travel package; the handler was professional and the puppy seemed well-cared for during transit. Upon arrival, the vet check confirmed he was healthy. He's been with us for two weeks now and is adjusting well to his new home. The quality of the puppy appears excellent, and the initial training program information provided was useful. Overall, it was a smooth transaction for a significant purchase.

Good experience overall, minor hiccup

I purchased a Bernedoodle puppy last month. The process of picking him out was straightforward, and the health guarantee gave me peace of mind. Delivery took 5 days to reach Denver, which was about what they said. He arrived healthy and happy. My only small complaint is that the communication about the travel updates wasn't always immediate; I had to follow up once myself. But the puppy is great and settling in well.

Can you use more than one discount code? Like, if I have a referral credit AND there's a seasonal sale?

C Chris Foster 2 months ago
Nah, pretty sure you can only use one code at a time. I tried to stack a holiday discount with something else once and it didn't work.

I don't think so, most places only let you use one coupon. Worth a shot at checkout, but probably not.

How do their prices compare to like, AKC Marketplace or just finding a local breeder? Is it worth the extra for convenience?

C Cleo M. 2 months ago
It's a bit more expensive than going direct to some local breeders, but you get the health guarantee and the travel arranged. For me, it was worth not having to deal with all that hassle.

AKC Marketplace can be hit or miss with convenience, PuppySpot packages everything up. Price wise, it felt similar to a really good local breeder, but less work on my end.

Are the breeders they work with actually good? I've heard some horror stories about puppy mills and wanna make sure it's legit.

P Phil J. 1 month ago
Their breeders are supposedly super vetted. They have a whole screening process and 'no puppy mill' promise. I felt good about it.

My cousin got a German Shepherd from them and visited the breeder (not through PuppySpot directly, but researched them). Said they were really clean and responsible. PuppySpot doesn't let you visit directly, but they do seem to pick good ones.

is their puppy travel package reliable? i'm worried about a little puppy flying alone.

M Mike 1 month ago
Yeah, it's totally reliable. They have a whole system for it, my puppy arrived with a care package and everything. They fly them in a climate-controlled area.

Mine came by plane, and they were really good about keeping me updated. The puppy was totally fine when she arrived, a little sleepy but otherwise happy.

Thinking about a French Bulldog, but a friend told me some breeders fake papers. Are their puppies actually AKC registered like they say?

N Nick H. 1 month ago
Mine came with all the proper paperwork for registration, no issues there. They vet their breeders pretty thoroughly for that kind of stuff.

Not all their puppies are AKC, some are just purebred and registrable with other clubs. You gotta check the specific puppy's details. But I haven't heard of them faking papers, they seem pretty serious about not being a mill.
